Founded in February 1996 for the production of self-adhesive labels
History
Following market analysis, the decision was taken to found a company that would improve on the offer of competitors in two distinct areas:
1| Overall product quality, through attention to the standard of raw materials and investment in the latest technology.
2| Customer satisfaction, through strict adherence to the agreed timescales for delivery.
Commencement of operations
The company began operations in June 1996 at premises located in Mem-Martins, Sintra. The initial single work shift was increased to two shifts in September 1996 and three shifts in August 1997. The three shift regime has remained in place continuously to date.
First equipment
In 2001 the company acquired its first digital offset printers for the production of self-adhesive labels, becoming a national pioneer in the use of digital offset technology for this purpose.
Accreditation
In 2003 the company was certified in the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard for the production of self-adhesive labels by APCER (IPQ and ENAC accreditation).

Environmental Management System
In 2007 the company was certified ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System certification.
Workplace Health and Safety Management System
In 2008 the company was certified OHSAS 18001:1999 and NP 4397:2001 certification for workplace health and safety management.

Purchase of further equipment
In 2017 a second new high quality offset printer was purchased. This year also brought accreditation from PEFC™ for chain of responsibility and from FSC® for chain of custody for products derived from forestry.

ENHANCED INVESTMENT IN TECHNOLOGY
In 2022, two new main pieces of equipment were added:
– High-quality offset printing machine;
– Special finishing machine (screen printing, stamping, embossing).
INVESTMENT IN SUSTAINABILITY AND EQUIPMENT UPGRADE
Since its inception, the company has grown steadily in terms of turnover, customer base and number of employees. To support this expansion it has invested continually in quality improvement. In 2008 it diversified its product offer by expanding into the production of shrink sleeves and tickets.
The company implements internal controls of every phase of its production, from pre-printing to final product. It currently has equipment for printing in up to 8 colours and for the production of a wide range of finishes, including varnishing, hot stamping, embossing and special finishes.
